The FIFA 2014 world cup qualifying match between Philippines' Azkals versus Sri Lanka's Brave Reds kicked off on June 29, 2011 at Colombo Sugathadasa Stadium. Azkals' player received 3 yellow card each were James Younghusband, Stephan Schrock and Alexander Borromeo. The Brave Reds also received 3 yellow cards. One each for Anton Nemal Fernando, Nadeeka Pushpakumara and Safraz Kaiz. The game ends in a draw with 1 goal each for Sri Lanka and Philippines.
The second leg of the Azkals vs Sri Lanka will be on July 3 to be held at the Rizal Memorial Football Field.
